Celebakes® Isomalt is ideal for making beautiful clear candy decorations for your cakes, candies and treats! Unlike regular sugar, Isomalt will not crystallize and has a higher resistance to humidity resulting in a clearer finished product.

Directions: Combine 2 cups Isomalt and ½ Cup distilled hot water in a heavy saucepan over medium heat until dissolved. Using a candy thermometer, bring the mixture up to 320F degrees—remove from heat. If you want to add color, add liquid or gel color at 280F degrees. If you want to add flavor, add liquid flavoring once removed from heat. Pour liquid isomalt mixture into a greased candy mold, silicone mat or sheet pan. Allow to cool and harden completely before handling, about 10 minutes. Contents will be extremely hot! Handle with care. Do not allow children to use.
